I will not lie: I did not think I would enjoy this series after the first book.

The first one was very simple both in the romance and the story. The characters were believeable, and the pacing was ok. It seemed more on the bland side, but that might just be me.

The second story is probably my favorite simply for the romance. The two lovers were believeable, as well as the situation they were in. Not much story wise, but it had better character development.

The third story was similar to the first. Due to its building characters, I found the story to be more intruguing than the first one. The author did a good job showing what was at stake.

The fourth and fifth books were both similar. Both had simple stories that unfortunately did not seem as intense as the rest of the series. However, the characters and romance was still good.

Reading through all five books made me belieev that I would forget this series over time. However, I find myself remembering the characters very well, and their stories. It may have not been amazing, but it was not too bad either.

Exiled Dragons Box Set Volume I edition by Sarah J Stone Romance eBooks Reviews

Interesting books. Enjoyed reading this series. Each book showed what family does for each other. They stand together and fight together, no matter what happens. I hope there will be more books from this series , to find out how there lives have continued. I look forward to reading more of Sarah J. Stone's books.
This boxed set contained 2 great series!!!!

Exiled dragons was amazing. I found myself pulled into these books very quickly and i thoroughly enjoyed every last 1 of them. I would recmmend this series to all mature readers.

Witch academy was also a very good boxed set. I was eager to start reading the second box set for the exiled dragons series when i discovered this set at the end of the dragon set. Even though i wanted more of the other set i found myself not able to stop reading this box set. I enjoyed this series a lot. I would definitely recommend this series to all readers.
After seeing that the format was corrected for another reader, I wrongfully assumed that it was corrected for all future purchases. The excessive spacing makes it unreadable, which is disappointing as I do so love this genre. Preview before buying to see if the spacing issue has been fixed.
Decent storyline. Shifter stories have always been entertaining. Following the stories of the shifters that were exiled, because of a ruthless and murderous leader, until he is finally taken down in battle was a great serial storyline. I really enjoy having several books of the series all in one volume. The second series on the witches was a bit different than the usual witch stories, more devoted to academia then to magic itself, and some hard rules regarding having any kind of personal life.
I do feel however that a better proofreading could have been done, as several errors were missed.
I'm sorry to disagree with those that say this is an awesome read. Maybe if you are a young adult it's OK. The storyline line was good but I find the writing to be at a High School level. The dialogs are very elementary. From the beginning I found I wanted the book to be over with. I just couldn't get through it and that is unusual for me.
Lot of typos; I find that e-books seem to have more than hard-copy books. Sometimes character names are written in wrong and you notice this from the context. Like when Owen goes to the door of his and his brother, Connor's home while Connor is still in the kitchen, but then the author writes that Owen gets up from the table to join Connor at the door. Emily's name is written in where Kate's name should be and other switches of that type. Also in book four Kara is described as flaming red hair and bright green eyes, but in book five she is described as having doe-like brown eyes and brown hair with red highlights. This makes for confusion and disappointment when trying to visualize what the people look like. (I prefer the first description as I like red hair and green eyes.) I haven't finished book five yet, but I thought I'd write this down before forgetting these typos or description errors. Perhaps Sarah had a long time between writing these books, but such a character description switch sounds like she wanted someone other than Kara working in the diner - when I write about characters I make notes on their physical appearance so I can use them or place someone else in a scene if physical appearance is important.
The writing style reminded me a lot of how my mom used to write her stories, which is not bad story wise, but lacked in experience of writing maybe. There were a lot of grammatical errors and some detail content that could have been left out, which is why I gave it 4 stars. Having said that, the stories and characters were interesting, and there were some pretty hilarious and sweet moments. I haven't read the bonus book about magic that was included in this box set yet, but I think that was smart to include an extra book in the set.
